Clinical Researcher

CBC is seeking a clinical researcher interested in conducting, coordinating, and overseeing a wide range of research activities in the areas of CBT, DBT, vulnerability, prevention, treatment, and dissemination in anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, depression, suicidality, and borderline personality disorder. The successful candidate will have a high degree of skill in research methodology and statistics and in managing IRB applications and databases. The ideal candidate has strong training in CBT and in Dissemination Implementation Science and Prevention research. In addition, experience or interest in DBT is highly desirable. This position offers the opportunity to conduct research in a clinical and school setting, conduct both primary data collection and secondary data analysis, collaborate with senior researchers, and mentor junior researchers. In addition to research activities, the individual will engage in some clinical activities, attend professional development didactics and consultation teams, and have the opportunity to conduct trainings.

CBC seeks applications from persons with a doctoral degree in and a strong commitment to a career in mental health services research and implementation science. Staff Clinician

Looking for a full-time clinician, who could work in both the east side location in Manhattan and in White Plains. Licensed psychologists and licensed social workers are welcome to apply. CBC is an internationally recognized treatment and training center that provides clinical and wellness services, continuing education for professionals, and custom-designed programs for organizations. CBC offers training, consultation, and supervision as well as a collegial and stimulating environment.

Many professionals on our team also provide supervision as part of the postdoctoral training program, psychology externship training program, and social work internship program, and provide training and consultation to professionals in different settings. CBC offers significant opportunity for continuing education during peer supervision meetings, DBT consultation team meetings, CBT consultation team meetings, and CBT clinical spotlight meetings. We also organize colloquium series where nationally and internationally renowned speakers provide cutting edge lectures on evidence-based treatments.

The ideal candidate has strong training and expertise in DBT with children, adolescents, or adults, as well as a strong foundation in CBT. Experience or interest in DBT is highly desirable. There may be opportunities for co-leading CBT groups or DBT skills groups in addition to providing individual, family, or couples therapy. There also may be opportunities to be involved in our training program at a supervisory level and to offer training and consultation services to professionals in schools, agencies, and other organizations.
