  Saranda Krasniqi | (914) 385-1150 | skrasniqi@cbc-psychology.com

Learn the foundations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles with colleagues from around the world from the comfort of your own home. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn valuable evidenced-based practices that you can utilize to help your patients especially during this global pandemic. CBC will host the annual CBT Five-Day Foundational workshop this summer using a state-of-the art virtual platform. The workshop will provide comprehensive training on evidence-based techniques and strategies for mental health professionals to help them meet the wide range of mental health challenges of their clients during this crisis and beyond. The foundational workshop will prepare professionals to address the increased mental health needs in the community today and teach skills to engage clients using telehealth platforms.

The Five-Day Foundational CBT workshop will be held on July 6, 8, 10, 14 and 16.

This intensive, comprehensive 5-day foundational training program in CBT, now in its seventh year, was created by Dr. Lata K. McGinn, Co-Founder of CBC, for a wide range of mental health professionals — for those without any background in CBT, for early career professionals, and for advanced clinicians who learned CBT through self-study, workshops or courses - to help them rigorously apply and implement CBT case conceptualization and strategies to treat clients of all ages. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) represents an umbrella of therapies that have shown to be effective in treating a variety of problems and conditions. CBT has shown to reduce emotional suffering and to help individuals of all ages lead more fulfilling lives. The 5-Day training will teach core skills in CBT across conditions and problems, including trauma, stress, worry and general anxiety, panic, agoraphobia, social anxiety, depression, OCD, externalizing conditions, and relationship problems. Clinicians also have the valuable opportunity to receive ongoing consultation following the training to become adherent in practicing CBT. Upon completion of the 5-Day CBT Foundational training, attendees will have received the required didactic hours of training in CBT necessary to apply to become a Certified Diplomate though the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (A-CBT).
