Brooke Koeppel, M.S. (She/Her)

Psychology Extern

Brooke Koeppel, M.S., is a psychology extern at CBC. She is currently a fourth-year doctoral student at St. John’s University, where she received her M.S. in School Psychology. She previously earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emory University.

Brooke has intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She has accumulated meaningful experience providing personalized, evidence-based treatment to individuals with a range of concerns and disorders including anxiety, selective mutism, ADHD, and emotional dysregulation. Before joining CBC, Brooke provided both psychoeducational assessments and intervention services to children, adolescents, and adults at the St. John’s Center for Psychological Services. She also worked as an extern within the Great Neck Public Schools District. In this role, she delivered individual and group counseling to children and adolescents with a range of goals and stressors, and engaged in consultations with school personnel on their behalf.

Brooke is committed to furthering her training in implementing evidence-based care with a warm, strengths-based approach. Currently, she is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
