Siobhán Noonan, MS

Psychology Extern

Siobhán Noonan, M.S., is a psychology extern at CBC where she conducts individual, family and group therapy with children and adults. She earned her M.S. in School Psychology from St. John’s University, where she is currently a fourth-year doctoral student. Siobhán earned her B.A. from Manhattan College where she graduated with a major in Psychology.

Siobhán has received intensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as other CBT variations. She has training and experience working with children, adolescents, and families across various settings. Prior to her externship at CBC, Siobhán conducted psychological assessment and intervention services for children and adolescents with a variety of presenting problems at the St. John’s Center for Psychological Services. Siobhán has also worked as a school psychology extern at the Scarsdale Union Free School District in Westchester, New York. For the Scarsdale School District, Siobhán provided individual and group counseling for middle school students, psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral observations, and functional behavioral assessments.

Siobhán’s current research at St. John’s University focuses on implementation science and explores ways to improve intervention fidelity in schools. As a doctoral fellow, she has also worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant in the School Psychology Department at St. John’s University.
