Participate in this workshop with colleagues from around the world in the comfort of your own home using a state-of-the-art virtual platform.

Who Is This Workshop For?

This virtual workshop is for clinicians that are on existing consultation teams in agencies and schools. The workshop will provide comprehensive training on evidence-based techniques and strategies for mental health professionals to help them meet the wide range of mental health challenges of their clients during this crisis and beyond. Participants will receive thirty-five (35) Continuing Education Credit Hours for NY Social Workers and all Psychologists.

“This has really changed just the foundational way I understand myself and my clients. I feel rejuvenated as a clinician, this training validated what I already know and taught me a new way to introduce change strategies.”

The DBT- Linehan Board of Certification was formed to develop a comprehensive way to certify individual therapists in their competency to deliver DBT effectively and to certify programs that demonstrate their ability to deliver DBT programmatically with fidelity to the model as it has been researched.

  • “I am grateful and excited to continue to apply the skills of DBT in my own life and in my clients lives!”
  • “Thank you again for this fruitful, challenging, rich learning experience. I look forward to attending future trainings at CBC and to utilizing DBT in my clinical work and my life.”
  • “I am so grateful for this training. The level of respect each trainer had for one another and the participants was such a good model of how clinicians should act with their patients and colleagues. I feel so grateful to have had a year of DBT training at CARES and yet this 5-day training felt so much more impactful. I'm so excited about DBT. I really feel so passionate about bringing this to Beth Israel Medical Center. I really hope my child team gets to work with CBC again. Thank you for everything!”
  • “Thanks for an incredible, inspiring, validating week of learning!”
  • “This was one of the most helpful and beneficial trainings I’ve ever attended! I’ve never gotten to the end of a training and felt sad about it being over, until now! Thank you all for sharing your knowledge!”
  • “I am so happy that I attended this training. I feel motivated to use these strategies with my clients and perhaps even pursue organizational change in my current placement to be more DBT adherent. I enjoyed being exposed to a variety of presenters and trainers and feel this was key to this experience. I feel this training will have a significant positive impact on my future work with clients.”
