Social anxiety groups summer 2021
We will be offering our social anxiety group program this summer on our virtual platform. This program is designed to help adolescents and young adults reduce anxiety and boost their comfort, confidence, and competence in social and public situations.
The group uses CBT strategies to help participants gain a better understanding of social anxiety, challenge worry thoughts experienced in social situations, enhance conversational and assertiveness skills, and face their fears with practice of these skills in different real-life activities.
We will be running two groups: one for high school students aged 13-18 and one for young adults aged 18-26.
