Jeff Cohen is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at Columbia University. He teaches courses on Abnormal Behavior and Mindfulness to undergraduate students in the Department of Psychology and directs the Cognitive Behavior Therapy course for adult residents in the Department of Psychiatry. Jeff also enjoys providing direct clinical care and supervising trainees at Columbia Doctors Psychiatry Faculty Practice at Columbus Circle and CUACRD Westchester in Tarrytown. He provides cognitive-behavioral therapies, as well as gender-affirming care, to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Jeff is involved in professional organizations, including the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and is a past co-chair of the ABCT Sexual and Gender Minority Special Interest Group.
